My name is Karl Lansley. I am a widowed father of two young children, Jess and Ethan.  The Carli Lansley Foundation was established in 2018 following the tragic passing of my wife, Carli, on the 1st of July 2017 from Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome (SADS).  This is where a person has an undiagnosed heart condition.

Our Foundation focuses on two specific areas. Our main focus is to host ECG screening days in the Southend area where between 80-100 young people – aged 14-35 – can get their hearts checked for free.  In addition to providing these screening days, we also fund the installation of defibrillators in prime locations in the Southend Area.
